Quote Price and Inventory
There are 3 main options to manage quote prices and inventory:
- 1 Basic
- 2 Intermediate
- 2.1 Setup options
- 3 Advanced
- 3.1 Setup options
Basic
Enter a total price for the entire system. This probably means you manage your inventory price list in an external program or spreadsheet. On the Pricing page:
go to the Custom Price section
select Apply custom price
select Price Override
enter the Custom Price.
Intermediate
Set up your inventory pricing and use SolarPlus to calculate the quote price and assess profit margin, based on:
the buy price and markup or margin on inverters, panels, meters, etc
a simple per hour install rate, based on how long you estimate the job will take
a simple balance of systems / sundries rate based on what you estimate the miscellaneous gear will cost.
a simple mounting / racking cost, based on a price per panel, or 4 panel kits
basic site-specific costs such as switchboard upgrades, engineering assessments, etc.
