Please enter the business contact details like Business name, Business number, Email, office address, phone number and other contact details
The email and primary phone number entered here are the default business contacts added into all proposals and system manuals.
The contact name and phone number displayed on the front page of a proposal is sourced from the user profile page (also in Account section of drop-down menu) or the sales representative selected on the quote contact page.
Bank Information and Account Details
The bank details field in business settings is added to generated proposals and invoices to provide customers with payment details. In a proposal, it is added to the Quote Acceptance page which follows the Your Quote page.
This field can include HTML formatting if required.
2FA authentication
If the 2FA authentication is selected, ensure all users have a valid mobile phone in their profile. The phone number must include the country code (for example +61412345678).

Regional Settings
Country
Set the Country field if you wish to have the address field for a new contact auto-completed from addresses within your country, otherwise you will have worldwide address suggestions.
Regions You Service
Clicking in the Regions You Service field will allow you to choose the States and Territories in which you operate. Click multiple time in this box to add multiple states.
Information entered into this field will filter selections on the Energy page, to make the consumption/load profile and tariff selections more relevant and manageable.
The Regional Settings also allows the user to choose the currency(preferably the currency of the country chosen in the ‘Country’ field of the regional settings window) and the tariff rate denomination(cents/dollars)
In addition, the label for the Electricity network site identifier can also be provided in this page for easy identification and access in quotations.
Tax Settings
Tax Label
The tax label is the sales tax label for your territory, for example GST or VAT.
Tax Percent
Set the sales tax amount to be applied to all quote line item pricing.
Business Tax Number Label
Add the label describing the tax number for your country/territory Eg. ABN
In addition, the tax settings houses three checkboxes,
‘ Apply Sales tax ‘
This checkbox control whether the sales tax should be included or excluded on the quotation
‘ Inventory prices are exclusive of tax’
This checkbox controls whether inventory pricing is set exclusive of sales tax or inclusive, and therefore whether sales tax will be added to the pricing in each quote.
‘ Allow tax rate to be set on invoice ‘
This checkbox controls the display of the tax rate on the invoice
Quote
Setting Quote Prefix:
Include appropriate text in this label, to add a suitable prefix to the Quote name.
Next Quote Number:
Set the quote number from which each new quote will increment in sequence.
Days Until Quote Expiry:
The number of days each quote will remain valid, this value is set at 30, by default
Estimated days to installation:
An estimated installation date can be set when sending a quote - this number sets the default days from the day the quote is sent.
This date may be used also to set payment terms and invoice payment due dates.
Estimated days to commissioning
This date may be used to set payment terms and invoice payment due dates.
Allow quotes in multiple countries
To allow quotes in multiple countries and see addresses from other countries.
Activating quotes in multiple countries will activate users to receive a prompt to “allow google to know my location”. This is so that local addresses can be given preference in autocomplete. If this is activated, international address will still be dispayed in the address autocomplete field, until the number and street are fully entered, then usually it will show local addresses.
Default Quote Email
This WYSIWYG editor allows you to set your default content for quote emails.
You may add placeholder variables from the list on the right of the editor to insert items such as customer_name (first name), and other fields.
Note that the variable: [[receive_quote_url]] [Missing required attribute: {http://atlassian.com/resource/identifier }value] is a special field that is a link for the prospect to click and be taken from the email to a web page displaying the quote and Terms and Conditions.
They can then sign off on this page to accept the quote.
This sign off will trigger a signed quote PDF which is sent to both the user who created the quote, the user assigned as Customer Rep, and the Customer themselves.

Default Quote STC value
Set your current dollar price to add Small-scale Tradable Certificates (STCs) to a quote.
Only set this value if you wish all users to be able to use it to calculate STC prices using this value.
If not set this can be set for each individual quote.
Show STC Extra Info
Check this box to show the number of certificates calculated and the price of certificates on the quote total area.
Apply to Quote by Default
Check this box ONLY if you wish the STC amount to be calculated automatically using the default value set in the field above: Default Quote STC value.
Add GST on STC to Net Investment
Includes the GST on STCs in the Net investment amount
You take full responsibility for the STC pricing if this box is checked
Payment Schedule
The Payment Schedule Settings allows you to configure your default payment terms.
Click 'Add a Payment term ' to create the first payment term:
Select either a Percentage amount or a Flat Amount in dollars for the first payment
Enter the amount - eg. 10% or $500 (deposit)
Select the due date event for this payment i.e., when quote is accepted, on Install date, etc
Add a second and any additional payment schedules.
After entering a deposit and the user wants to set the remaining amount to be the second payment term, leave the second (or last) payment schedule amount blank, so that this is calculated automatically from the total payable, less any payment amounts already set (i.e., the first deposit).

In addition, the user can also enable toggle buttons to display either,

This feature must be toggled separately for Quote payment dates and Invoice payment dates as shown in the image displayed above.
Design/Compliance
This feature in the business settings allows the user to toggle ON/OFF the usage of CEC guidelines for their quotations generated using SolarPlus.
The CEC design guidelines checkbox allows you to apply defaults while designing a system. For Australian systems, for creating STC certificates, it is recommended that you leave this in the 'On' (checked) position.
Apply current prices to the System Package checkbox allows the user to set current prices for all the system components (inverters, modules, DC cables, isolators, optimizers) for system packages.
To comply with the new 5033:2021 standard, check that the option has been turned on in the business settings. Additionally, the user can also limit the residential string voltage to 600V. If the 600V setting is turned off, the voltage limit is bumped up to 1000V.
To use custom names for panels and inverters (for example, changing the product name/model to comply with CEC nomenclature), turn the setting on in the business settings to use inventory names for inverters and modules on quotes. Then simply change the name of the product in the inventory.
Installation
The installation tab in the business settings page allows the user to select the information that would be available to the supplier at the time of installation and commissioning.
The Hide Supplier from Bill of Materials check box, if enabled, would prevent the display of supplier information from the Bill of Materials documentation.
In addition, the user can select information like specific inventory categories to hide from the Bill of Materials.
Return on Investment
Lifecycle of Return
This sets the number of years over which the payback and return on investment calculations will apply.
Tariff Escalation Rate
This sets the expected annual increase in the price of electricity tariffs, factored into the savings and return on investment.
Note that these are seen applied in the return on investment chart with no inflation applied, but inflation is factored using the Discount Rate to arrive at the Net Present Value.
Discount Rate
The Discount Rate is an annual percentage, generally considered in line with the expected future inflation rate, to apply this discount to future year savings estimations and arrive at a Net Present Value - the total value of all future year savings brought back to today's dollar value.
Module Degradation Rate - first year
The module degradation rate sets the module performance in year two to account for an initial drop in performance, defaulting to 2%.
Module Degradation rate - subsequent years
The module degradation rate sets the module performance in all future years after year 2, to account for the drop in performance over the lifecycle of the module, defaulting to 2%.
Reinvestment A year
This fields sets a default year in which you can add an allowance for future reinvestment in system update or replacement components.
Reinvestment B year
This fields sets a second default year in which you can add an allowance for future reinvestment in system update or replacement components
Once all the relevant business information and settings have been provided, click the blue ‘Save’ to integrate information into the business profile in SolarPlus.
When logging in as a particular business entity, all the above disclosed settings and preferences would be automatically available for use in quotations and solar proposals
