Design Review

This is a detailed analysis of system performance. It is for system designers to check their design and see whether any adjustments are needed.

Comparison Webpage

This is a customer-facing web page that compares multiple quote proposals side by side. You can preview it in the SolarPlus app. If you have created multiple quotes for a customer and selected them as Comparison quotes, this is the page that they will first see when they click on the link in the email you send them. From there they can choose their preferred option and continue on to the Quote and Acceptance Page.

Proposal Webpage

This is a customer-facing web page with information about a single quote, including:

  • quote price details

  • key system specs and performance indicators

  • finance options (if applicable)

  • quote acceptance signing section

  • panel layout image

  • your business profile

Proposal PDF

This is a customer-facing PDF, available in many templates for different system designs and customer types. It includes:

  • system specifications and performance estimates

  • quote price details

  • finance options (if applicable)

  • quote acceptance signing section

  • panel layout image

  • your business profile

The Proposal PDF can be attached to an email to a customer, downloaded from the Send page, and/or linked to the Quote and Approval Page.

Send quote workflow

Once you have created one or more quotes, select the templates you wish to use to present the quotes, and then send an email to the customer.

  1. Comparison page

    1. Select the recommended quote, and any comparison quotes, using the quote side-bar

    2. Select the Comparison template you wish to use

  2. Quote and Acceptance page

    1. Select the Quote and Acceptance template to use, and check that the quote displays as intended.

  3. Send

    1. Select the Proposal PDF template to use (if applicable)

    2. Edit the email text if required, or select a different email template.
