Note |
---|
Note: the Design access in this workflow means that the installer user could change component, design attributes, and therefore affect the pricing set for the quote. When an invoice (or job order) has been created (either automatically upon quote acceptance or manually created), the invoice will not be affected by any change made to the design at this point. |
Additional options
Enable users to see All Contacts and pick up jobs
You can allow selected installers, salespeople etc to see the list of all Contacts, and if they need to work on a quote that is assigned to someone else, they can self-assign themselves to the quote. This will notify the existing customer rep with a message to let them know that someone else has picked up the quote/install.
The dashboard view will only show quotes assigned to them. in order to see other quotes,
Go to the Contacts list
Select a contact
Select a Customer Rep from the drop-down box
Click Assign.

To enable this feature, a Business Admin will need to edit the User’s Profile, and check the option “Allow user to self-assign job role for any quote.
