Adding notes
You can add extra information to the SLD by adding notes. With your mouse above the SLD, right click, and the note box will appear.
Grid protection device / Secondary Protection
To include a grid protection device on the SLD,
First add a grid protection device to your inventory. You can add one from the product library, or create a custom item in your inventory and assign the item category as “Grid protection device”.
On the pricing page, add the grid protection device to the quote, and it will automatically be added to the SLD.
To add the grid protection settings for a specific device, go to Inventory > search for the unit, and click the edit icon.
In the Description field, type in the grid settings.
Those settings listed in the Description will now appear in the SLD.
Automatic Transfer Switch, aka Backup box
On the Solar & Battery designer page, in the Grid Configuration section, select Back-up (ext). This will add the ATS / Backup relay symbol to the SLD
Add a Backup box / ATS to your inventory, either by adding one from the Product library, or creating a custom item and assigning it the category ‘Automatic Transfer Switch / Back-up’
On the Pricing page, add the ATS / Backup box to the quote. The model name of the ATS will now appear in the text boxes below the SLD.
Export limit device / Energy meter
Add an Energy Meter to your inventory, either by adding one from the Product library (select the ‘Other’ section), or creating a custom item and assigning it the category ‘Automatic Transfer Switch / Back-up’
On the Solar & Battery designer page, in the AC section, select the Energy Meter. This will add the energy meter symbol to the SLD, and add the meter to the quote price.
Sub-board / distribution board
To add a sub-board, simply specify the length of the sub-main cable in the AC cable section of the Solar and Battery design page. If the sub-main cable length is >0m , then a sub-board will be added to the SLD.
AC-coupled off-grid
Not all system configurations have SLDs automatically produced. We are still working on AC-coupled and AC/DC coupled off-grid.
